“My dream for the future is…”

My dream for the future is to develop a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I will work hard and be persistent to raise money and help doctors come to some conclusion as to why this disease truly exists. I want others to know that it is all right to have Cystic Fibrosis because that in itself has so many special memories brought to it. I have gotten the chance to meet some of the greatest doctors who have truly helped me cope through this disease. My dream would definitely have to be to let the world know that although this disease can be fatal, it isn’t ALWAYS. There are so many inspiring young men and women with CF that aren’t given the chance to speak up because of their disease. My dream would diminish any prejudices against CF. I have longed for a cure, but even if it is not found, I still wish for love throughout the world to those who are physically or mentally disabled. Life is never fair; not all people are granted the same things. The way I see it, God strengthens the weak by giving them battles and forces to overcome. Without these forces, the weak will never learn to overpower anything. If He felt one weren’t capable of handling battles, He would have never put it on him/her.
