Jessica G.'s Essay

"My dream for the future is..."
It's difficult to sum up my dreams for the future in just a mere 250 words, because I can think of over 250 dreams I have for my life.....but here it goes.
When I dream about my future I see myself as a successful Speech-Language Pathologist, working with and helping children find their way with words. I dream about having these children see me as someone they look up to, just as I look up to my doctors who are my true heroes. I dream about attending a "Breath of Life Gala", not for raising money to help find the cure for CF, but to celebrate the fact that a cure has been found. I dream about receiving one last e-mail from the CF Foundation saying "We did it!". I dream about one day having my own children, and hoping to be even half as amazing of a parent as my parents are to me. I dream about skydiving or bungee jumping, because they're both something I'm so afraid to do. If there isn't a cure, I dream about being the oldest woman in history with Cystic Fibrosis, who is still going strong. I dream about my children only knowing what CF is because of me, not because they have it. I dream about more and more wonderful holidays spent with my family and friends. I dream about traveling to Italy and Greece and taking in everything about their cultures.
When I dream about my future I see endless possibilities, that have no end.
